For over a year we practice acrobalance in Banja Luka with an experienced Dutch trainer. And we want more!
So join us for one year of European Voluntary Service (EVS) in Banja Luka to help us to develop our aerial acrobatics skills!
We are working with an alternative youth NGO called "POP”, http://www.pop.ba Altogether we still have to finalise the EVS project application before the 01.02.2011.

Contexte :
A Zagreb, Ljubljana, Belgrade – dans presque toutes les capitales des Balkans – des petits groupes ont commencé à apprendre et à enseigner les arts du cirque. La plupart font du jonglage, des acrobaties aériennes et des spectacles de feu. Quelques autres pratiquent d'autres disciplines, telles que le clown, etc.
Nous avons débuté, il y a un an, l'acrobalance à Banja Luka. Ce n'est pas vraiment une capitale mais c'est tout de même la capitale de la Republika Srpska, et la deuxième ville de Bosnie Herzégovine. Et nous voulons faire plus de cirque!

Depuis un an nous pratiquons l'acrobalance à Banja Luka avec un acrobate hollandais. En avril nous avons organisé le 1er weekend d'acrobalance dans les Balkans. De jeunes acrobates de toute l'Europe du Sud Est y ont participé, et ont pu profiter, en parallèle, à un atelier d'acrobatie aérienne (tissu/agrès). Et bien sûr ça nous a donné envie d'en faire plus!
Donc....si tu veux passer un an à Banja Luka et nous enseigner le trapèze, le tissu, et toutes les acrobaties aériennes, tu es le/la bienvenu(e)!!
Le Service Volontaire Européen :
L'Union Européenne finance les échanges de jeunes via le programme “Youth in Action”. Avec leur soutien, nous voulons organiser un échange pour inviter une ou deux jeune(s) personne(s) ayant de l'expérience dans les arts du cirque (tout particulièrement en acrobatie aérienne) pour un an maximum à Banjaluka.
Nous travaillons avec une ONG pour la jeunesse alternative, “POP”, http://www.pop.ba, basée à Banjaluka. Tu feras donc partie de l'équipe de POP . Plusieurs projets sont déjà prévus pour 2011. Par exemple le festival “Most Mira” en mai. Tu participeras à l'organisation du festival et à son bon déroulement. POP a déjà une volontaire allemande et accueillera bientôt une volontaire anglo-suisse. Nous essayons aussi d'organiser une Convention d'Acrobalance Internationale pour cet été, en Bosnie...si nous obtenons assez de subventions!
Il faut finaliser le projet de candidature SVE avec toi avant le 1er février 2011. Par exemple, selon ton pays de résidence (UE!) cnous devons trouver une organisation d'envoi SVE. Donc il y a toujours la possibilité de modifier quelque chose selon tes désirs spécifiques.. par exemple si tu veux améliorer ta pratique etc. Une option pourrait être d'avoir deux volontaires SVE qui pourraient travailler leur propre performance durant toute la durée de leur Service Volontaire Européen.
Le lieu où nous nous entraînons fait partie du Centre de la Jeunesse (Dom Omladine) de Banja Luka. L'espace est très haut, mais nous n'y avons encore encore installé de tissu ou de trapèze. Nous avons des tapis de gymnastique normaux, pas énormément épais.
Si nous finalisons la candidature du projet avant le 1er février, et s'il est accepté par l'UE, le Service Volontaire Européen pourrait commencer le 1er mai 2011, et il durera au maximum 12 mois.
Nous recherchons quelqu'un qui
a entre 18 et 30 ans et est citoyen de l'UE
maitrise bien l'anglais
a une expérience dans les arts du cirque, et plus particulièrement en acrobatie aérienne (tissu, trapèze, corde, etc.) et peut l'enseigner
accepte de passer un an pour vivre et travailler à Banja Luka, Bosnie Herzégovine
va trouver une organisation d'envoi SVE dans son pays (liste sur http://ec.europa.eu/youth/evs/aod/ )
va travailler avec POP toute l'année pour mettre en place les projets prévus et, éventuellement, en initier de nouveaux.
Aime travailler avec les jeunes (enfants, adolescents, jeunes adultes)
Nous vous offrons :
Le programme SVE prend en charge les frais de voyage, de logement, un peu d'argent de poche – le volontaire n'a donc aucun frais. Toutefois il ne s'agit pas d'un salaire mais d'une indemnité. A priori la somme prévue permet de bien vivre en Bosnie Herzégovine.

Comme nous devons nous mettre d'accord avec ton association d'envoi et ensuite envoyer le projet à l'UE avant le 1er février, nous voulons recevoir ta candidature au plus tard le 10 janvier 2011.
N'oublies pas de trouver une association d'envoi EVS et de leur demander s'ils sont d'accord pour proposer ta candidature pour ce projet!
Si tu as des idées spécifiques pour modifier le projet, n'hésites pas à nous en faire part!
Envoies-nous une lettre de motivation et ton CV, et, si possible des photos et/ou des vidéos de tes compétences en art du cirque.

For over a year we practice acrobalance in Banja Luka with an experienced Dutch trainer. In April we organised the first acrobalance weekend of the Balkans region. Besides acrobats from around South East Europe, there we had a one-off workshop of aerial acrobatics. And that gave us a taste for more!
Therefore we now invite you to come to Banja Luka for up to one year and help us to develop our aerial acrobatics skills!
European Voluntary Service:
The European Union finances Youth Exchanges under its Youth in Action-programme. With the support of this program we want to organise an exchange in which we can host for up to one year one (or two) young person(s) with experience in circus skills (especially in aerial acrobatics) and willing to share them with us.
We are working with an alternative youth NGO “POP”, http://www.pop.ba, in Banja Luka. You will be part of the POP team. POP has a number of projects planned for 2011 for example the Most Mira festival in May. You will be employed by POP and work for/on that festival as well. POP is already hosting one other foreign volunteer. We are trying to organise an International Acrobalance Convention in the summer of 2011 in Bosnia. If our fundraising efforts are successful, you will help to organise it, too.
Together with you we still have to finalise the EVS project application before February 1st 2011. For example, depending on your current (EU!) country of residence we have to determine the EVS sending organisation. So there is still a possibility to modify the “One year of circus in Banja Luka”-EVS application to meet your specific desires, for example to develop your own circus skills (One of the cool possibilities is to apply for two EVS volunteer-positions. Those volunteers could then, besides fulfilling the described tasks, for example develop their own performance)
The space we use for training is shared in the youth center (Dom Omladine) of Banja Luka. It has considerable height, but we haven't yet installed any aerial acrobatics equipment. We have several regular gymnastics mats, but no big mat yet.
If we finalise the project application before February 1st, and if it is accepted by the EU, this EVS project can start from 1st of May 2011. It can then last for the maximum of one year.
We are looking for somebody who
is between 18 and 30 years of age and lives in the EU
has a good command of English
has experience with circus skills, especially in aerial acrobatics (silk/tissue, trapeze, ring or rope) and is willing to teach
is willing to live and work up to one year in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina
can find an accredited EVS sending organisation in his or her own country from http://ec.europa.eu/youth/evs/aod/ which is willing to act as EVS sending organisation for the volunteer
will work with POP throughout the year to help implementing their planned projects and if possible initiate new ones.

The EVS scheme will fund travel expenses, accomodation, pocket money and other expenses for the volunteer, so most living costs will be met. The position itself is not paid. Experience learns that you can come by easy with this.
